A Birth Responder is a specially trained birth professional who combines compassionate birth support with emergency medical readiness.

Birth Responders bridge the roles of doula, midwife support, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to assist families during the natural birthing process, urgent situations, and pre-hospital care. Our responders are prepared to support both routine births and unexpected emergencies with skill, calm, and dignity.

Birth Responders works to improve maternal and newborn outcomes by training more certified birth workers with enhanced clinical awareness and emergency preparedness.

We focus on:

• Preparing responders in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) skills
